In Demystifying the Theory & Philosophy of Homeopathy, Kelly Callahan, CCH will guide you effortlessly through the deep waters of homeopathy theory and philosophy and ground you in the foundations that underpin best practices.
Homeopathy is a deep subject, and professional practitioners rely heavily on theory and philosophy for all aspects of practice, from case-taking to management.
As a home prescriber, you might not want to go into the same depth of study as a professional, but having a solid foundation in theory and philosophy can take your home prescribing to the next level.
This course will touch on how to apply homeopathy with an understanding of the philosophical ideas of health, disease, and healing so that you get more consistent results in your home.

Week 6: Wrap up
Review all the concepts through case examples
After great early success with homeopathy, Kelly Callahan bought her first home prescribing book (Miranda Castro’s The Complete Homeopathy Handbook) and started reading and experimenting with repertorization (the process of finding remedies by cross-referencing symptoms). She was amazed to find a remedy that helped her son’s croupy cough, and another that cleaned up his goopy, rattly cough. She had to know more and knew she would not return back to full-time teaching, so she began to look for homeopathic training programs.
She studied at the Baylight Center for Homeopathy and went on to further studies at the Dynamis School for Advanced Homeopathy with Jeremy Sherr, as well as occasional other seminars with Louis Klein, Farokh Master, and others.
She has been in private practice since 2011 but very quickly integrated her first love for teaching. She taught clinical skills, philosophy, and case analysis at the Baylight Center for Homeopathy 2016-2020, started the 1M: a Homeopath’s Podcast in 2016, and joined the faculty at the Academy for Homeopathy Education in 2019.
Teaching and practicing homeopathy together have rooted within her the realization that healing is learning, and learning is healing.
