Where did Hahnemann’s ideas come from?
Homeopathy is often taught through familiar milestones, but Hahnemann did not develop his system in isolation. He was a chemist, physician, translator, and experimenter working within a much larger world of scientific and philosophical inquiry.
In Episode 126 of Strange, Rare & Peculiar, Denise Straiges and Alastair Gray explore the intellectual history surrounding the development of homeopathy—from alchemy, chemistry, and metallurgy to the work of figures such as Paracelsus, Robert Boyle, and Isaac Newton.
