A Historic Day in Homeopathy’s History: The First Licensed Homeopathic Practitioners in the U.S.

November 12, 2024 was a historic day for homeopathic medicine in the US, as twenty Homeopathic Practitioners were the first to be approved for Professional Licensure in the US through the Arizona Board of Homeopathic and Integrated Medical Examiners.

Eleven of the newly minted LHPs are AHE alums, faculty, and staff. Congratulations to Carli Auer, Meg Smith, Johanna Antar, Rachel Bongle, Nickole Kaufman, Bethany Huss, Corrie Stuck, Wendy Henn, Andria Hagstrom, David Shein, and Christine Gregory.

We are so proud to see so many of our community members in this first round of licensed homeopathic practitioners (LHP), with many more to come. Here’s to returning this 225-year-old healing modality to its rightful place in medicine!

Currently, the credential available in the US which meets these best practices is the Licensed Homeopathic Practitioner (LHP) License through the Arizona Board of Homeopathic and Integrated Medicine Examiners. This license is newly available, as of September 2024, to any US resident who has successfully completed an accredited homeopathy training program and has passed an exam approved by the board.
