Course Participation Agreement
This agreement is between The Academy of Homeopathy Education, LLC (AHE) and the above-named student.
This participation agreement states your commitment toward completing your learning module and outlines your financial obligation to The Academy of Homeopathy Education, LLC, for the time you take to complete that module.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
If, for any reason, an applicant has paid the application fee or tuition but is not accepted by the school before beginning the course, the applicant is entitled to a full refund of the application fee plus tuition paid.
No cancellations or refunds are accepted by the school once the course has begun and student has been given access to the Learning Management System.
AHE Student Code of Conduct:
The Student Code of Conduct is a detailed set of guidelines born of the AHE Code of Ethics. All students undertaking a program of study at AHE must conduct themselves appropriately according to the AHE Codes of Ethics and Conduct.
The following is an excerpt of the AHE Code of Conduct which relates specifically to students studying asynchronously and who are not engaged in live class or clinic.
Conduct related to the principle of Respect:
- Students should act with respect to all students’, faculty’s, and employees’ differences in age, color, disability, ethnicity, family or marital status, gender identity or expression, language, national origin, physical and mental ability, political affiliation, race, religion, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, veteran status, and other characteristics that make us unique, both in and outside the school environment.
- Should behave reasonably and respectfully towards fellow students, faculty, and staff. Students should not cause undue disruption to the asynchronous learning environment including online communication and chat forums, social media, and email.
Conduct related to the principle of Integrity:
- Students will complete all assessments and quizzes with academic integrity and will never divulge the contents of a graded evaluation to another student.
- Students will respect that all course documents, notes, curriculum, recordings, and any other information that is or will be used by AHE is and will always be the exclusive property of the school. Course materials are to be used for students’ personal study only. They may not be shared or used for any other purpose, including but not limited to teaching, presentations, marketing, or website, except upon AHE’s prior written consent. Recorded lecture material may not be downloaded, and links to those recordings may not be saved or shared under any circumstances. Video screen capture of lectures is not permitted under any circumstances.
- Students will respect that the AHE name, logotype, and design references are to be used only with express permission of the school and its management and are not for use in student marketing materials.
- Students must be honest and truthful in all their communication with AHE and may not furnish false information intending to deceive.
Conduct related to the principle of Privacy:
- Students must respect the privacy of other students and staff in the asynchronous learning environment including online communication and chat forums, social media, and email.
Conduct related to the principle of Competency:
- Students may only engage in clinical practice within the bounds of their training and according to the scope of practice for whatever credential they may possess.
- Students may not misrepresent themselves as a professional Homeopath while still in foundational training.
Conduct related to the principle of Professionalism:
- Students will respect commonly understood boundaries and conduct themselves at all times with professionalism, maturity, and in such a way that neither undermines public confidence in the process or profession of homeopathy nor brings it into disrepute.
- Students will refrain from commenting adversely on the conduct of other professionals including peers, AHE staff, lecturers, and supervisors. All concerns should be addressed using the Grievance Procedure adopted by AHE as outlined in the Student Handbook.
Student Acknowledgements
By signing this contract, I acknowledge the following:
- I have all the information needed to decide to participate in this training.
- I agree to adhere to the Code of Conduct for asynchronous students.
- I have carefully read and received this enrollment agreement.
- I understand that this institution does not guarantee job placement to graduates upon program/course completion or graduation.
- I understand that I am responsible for tuition payments and that there is no refund once I have been given access to the course materials on the Learning Management System.
- I understand that the School may update or change any of its policies, procedures, and fees at its discretion, and any changes made will be reflected in the school’s Catalog.
- By making any fee payment and/or attending any of the classes for this course, I accept the conditions of the agreement as outlined above.
