Discovering a Passion for Healing
For many, the path to a new career is linear. For Kaylee Braz, it was anything but. A homeschooling mother of four, she never imagined that her journey of raising children would lead her to a life-changing passion—homeopathy. Today, as a graduate of the Academy of Homeopathy Education (AHE) and a Certified Classical Homeopath, she reflects on the challenges, the triumphs, and the deep fulfillment that came with following her calling.
“I’m thrilled to share my story,” Kaylee says. “I pursued homeopathy in my late 20s and became certified by 30! It wasn’t always easy, but it was absolutely worth it.”
Her story is not uncommon. Many homeschooling mothers discover homeopathy as they seek natural solutions for their families. What starts as curiosity often becomes a mission—a way to help not only their own children but also others in their communities.
A Spark That Ignited a Lifelong Passion
Kaylee’s first introduction to homeopathy was almost accidental. Like many parents, she stumbled upon teething tablets for her first child. But it wasn’t until her second pregnancy—when she was searching for more holistic ways to support her growing family—that she truly dove in. She purchased her first Helios homeopathy kits, and from that moment, she knew she had found something special.
“The rest is history,” she recalls. “I knew I had to do this.”
Her passion didn’t stop at personal use. She co-founded Americans for Homeopathy Choice, an advocacy group dedicated to protecting access to homeopathic medicine in the U.S. This work only deepened her dedication and drive to become a homeopath herself.
Balancing Motherhood and Full-Time Study
Determined to pursue her dream, Kaylee realized she needed a strong foundation before diving into formal homeopathy training. She first earned an associate’s degree in health careers, all while raising three young children. Then, with a 5-year-old, a 3-year-old, and a 5-month-old baby, she enrolled full-time at AHE.
“I liked the idea of the concentrated class time and the accountability of live classes,” she explains.
But life didn’t slow down. Between semesters, she had her fourth daughter. Instead of feeling overwhelmed, she found herself surrounded by an incredibly supportive school community.
Several of her classmates also had babies during the program—earning them the affectionate nickname “The Super Moms.”
Even after graduation, that sense of community has remained. Now navigating life as a single mother, Kaylee feels immense gratitude for her “homeo-family”—the friends and mentors she met along the way.
“I’ve developed friendships that I believe will last a lifetime. I’ve traveled to visit these homeo-pals, and they’ve come to visit me. I never imagined forming such deep bonds.”
A Mission to Serve Families and Inspire Others
Kaylee’s goal is simple but powerful: to help families navigate modern challenges using a time-tested system of medicine.
“Homeopathy is a beautiful adjunct to a holistic lifestyle,” she says. “I want to help individuals transcend their self-limiting beliefs and reach their full potential. It is a joy and such a gift to spread light.”
But her message isn’t just for those seeking homeopathic care—it’s also for other mothers who may feel hesitant about pursuing their own dreams.
“We can do hard things,” she encourages. “Don’t squash your dreams. You are capable and worthy. Be audacious and claim it. And when you need a sister to call on, you’ll always have a circle of homeos to surround you.”
The Future is Bright
From a curious mom with a teething baby to a certified classical homeopath—Kaylee Braz’s journey is a testament to the power of passion, perseverance, and community. Whether she’s working with clients, supporting other mothers, or advocating for homeopathy, she continues to light the way for others on their own paths.
And for those wondering if they, too, can make a bold career shift, she offers this final encouragement:
“If homeopathy is calling you, listen. It just might change your life.”
