Homeopathy for Health in Africa Scholarship

Homeopathy for Health in Africa (HHA) is giving one AHE graduate a scholarship to attend the HHA Professional Development Program (PDP) in Tanzania

Homeopathy for Health in Africa is a voluntary Tanzanian NGO treating people with HIV/AIDS and other health conditions with homoeopathy.  It was founded by Jeremy and Camilla Sherr in 2009, and to date the organization has treated upwards of 11,000 individuals across our multiple outreach clinics at schools, hospitals, and rural villages and our permanent drop-in Health Centres in the Kilimanjaro and Arusha regions of northern Tanzania. www.homeopathyforhealthinafrica.org

In honor of HHA’s 15th year anniversary, Tina Quirk is establishing a scholarship for one graduate of the Academy for Homeopathy Education to attend the HHA Professional Development Program (PDP) conducted by HHA in Moshi, Tanzania.

The PDP is a 2-week group internship experience, with advanced homeopathy teaching, attendance at busy outreach clinics, and expert tutorship and guidance from Jeremy and Camilla Sherr and our HHA Team.  The next internship dates are August 2024 and January 2025.

This is an invaluable opportunity to both increase your skills and ability, while also experiencing a wide range of different pathology. You will have the opportunity to sit in on our various clinics, from a hospital setting and a primary residential school to homestead clinics in small rural communities and the Maasai land. You will be in the hub of the project, experiencing the real Africa and homeopathy at the grass roots level. It is a unique and exciting opportunity for in-depth learning, through clinical experience.  You will become an ambassador for HHA and can help to raise awareness and sustain its mission.

Tanzania is a beautiful and safe country. Moshi is a busy, small town with hotels and restaurants and lots of markets and shops and has a beautiful view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. There are many opportunities for hiking, attending yoga classes, and scheduling a safari to the Serengeti and other national parks.

The scholarship includes accommodation in our fully equipped volunteer house, work-day lunches, transportation to outreach clinics, overnight accommodation for Maasai outreach, tutorship, and clinic experience.

It does not cover flights to Tanzania, airport pickup and drop-off ($45/each way), visa ($250.USD), internet fees, all other meals, entertainment, and transport outside of work hours.
