Ben Zorensky

Adjunct Faculty | ND

Dr. Ben Zorensky, ND, is a licensed, board-certified Naturopathic Physician, NOLS certified Wilderness First Responder, and certified Yoga Teacher. He is honored to be on the faculty with the Academy of Homeopathy Education and serves on the board of the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians. Dr. Ben is a member of the Arizona Naturopathic Medical Association and was chosen Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine’s ‘Inspiring Alumnus of 2015’. He has studied Anatomy Trains with Tom Meyers. In addition to consulting with clients, Dr. Ben enjoys teaching anatomy, physiology, and nutrition at yoga trainings and businesses world-wide.

Raised in a holistic household, his focus on nutrition, homeopathy, exercise and a healthy lifestyle began at an early age. Dr. Ben’s rich background in Naturopathic medicine, classical homeopathy, nutrition, collegiate athletics, wilderness experience and therapeutic yoga serves to provide a unique perspective on health and healing. Dr. Ben has been teaching anatomy and physiology since he graduated from the Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2007. Over the years, his presentations have taken place in-person and virtually, for universities, yoga studios, public education classrooms, restaurants, and retreat centers world-wide. Dr. Ben illuminates the adaptive capacity of the human body and the physiological design that allows for this resilience. With an emphasis on wholistic anatomy, communication between systems of the body and our will, he weaves yoga asana and healthy eating into lessons that also include modern therapies of medicine and Hahnemann’s principles of homeopathy from the Organon of Medicine.

Currently, Dr. Ben is a full-time provider with Resilience Naturopathic, a practice utilizing classical homeopathy with kids and young adults struggling with PANS/PANDAS – a neuropsychiatric autoimmune condition associated with brain inflammation and symptoms ranging from physical aggression, destructive behavior, compulsive thoughts, fear, anxiety and
issues with cognition. He also owns Naturopathic Athlete and through that entity he books speaking engagements and workshops for subjects related to all aspects of health and well being.

In addition to being a Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Ben is also a NOLS certified first responder and wilderness guide. For more than 20 years, he has led trips through the canyons of southern Utah and northern Arizona with kids and adults ranging in age from 9 to 79. In his pack, Dr. Ben carries a remedy kit that included essentials for first aid situations. Before slide
film became obsolete, he also carried large format film camera equipment and captured images deep in wilderness almost as spectacular as nature itself. Dr. Ben’s gallery can be viewed at www.bezphotography.com and his photographs are displayed in private homes, schools, businesses, yoga studios, and coffee shops across the country.

When Dr. Ben is not serving clients – helping families heal and witnessing their children come back to life – he is relaxing in his backyard or hiking in the Arizona desert or forest with his family and two dogs.
