The Potentized Homeopath – On-Demand

I wrote down "not 'ailments from' but 'reactions to.' " This is a nuance of thinking about "never well since," and I have thought about this insight almost daily since attending the conference. This one small comment helps to steer our analysis to the correct path of individualizing the response of our patient to the circumstances of their life.

The true beauty in knowing, when you feel behind as a student there are veteran homeopaths always looking to keep learning! I couldn't believe how many people were there to hear Denise and Al's research and clinical data. So inspiring and eye opening. The job of a homeopath is never done.

The opportunity to refresh and sharpen skills in community with other homeopaths intent on doing solid homeopathy work backed by quality research and provings is invaluable both in my personal profession and in the homeopathy community at large - thanks to HOHM Foundation and the Institute for the Advancement of Homeopath (IAH) for providing a space for that take place!

The most impactful thing I learned is how important posology can be to complicated chronic cases and how much there still is to learn in order to do it well!

While the entire retreat was overflowing with immediately applicable material for my work in practice, it was the bigger picture reminders that I found most meaningful. Our purpose as practitioners, the depth of healing that is only possible through homeopathy, and that we are all in this together; this perspective is what I need on repeat!

The most impactful insight for me was that it requires a very high level of organization and commitment to do a successful proving.

This retreat inspired me to go back and study source material.

I found the ease of reconnecting with Hahnemann in case management most valuable. Denise brings him alive in present times and makes it relatable to grasp Hahnemann and his writings. Thank you.

I loved hearing Denise's deep dive into autoimmunity/PANS/PANDAS

I loved Denise's term, "Similimish"- having the patience to let the case unravel on its own, and allowing each remedy to complete its action. The client's current condition is an intertwining of all that has gone before them, in their own life, in the generations before them, and we need to allow this complex tapestry to unfurl, naturally, and at a comfortable pace. We can not be so quick to want to see the end result, we, and the client, need to pause and marvel at the process along the way to healing. And of course, I loved the Provings presented by Alastair! So entertaining, and educational. I enjoyed learning about the trees, animals, and insects themselves, and also how the Provings were conducted and experienced by the provers. Fascinating!

One of the most impactful insights I gained from this retreat is that using accurate proving symptoms instead of an interpretation or tradition of a remedy's symptoms is necessary for proper homeopathic prescribing.
