SRP Podcast Episode 80: Homeopathy Help Now’s 5th Anniversary- Go Team!

How a crisis-born clinic became a cornerstone of 21st century homeopathy

When a global pandemic turned the world upside down, a handful of dedicated homeopaths stepped up. Their goal? Create a reliable, structured way to offer acute care at scale — not someday, but now. That’s how Homeopathy Help Network (HHN) was born.

This month, HHN turned five. And what began as an emergency response has grown into something far more powerful: an evolving, rooted clinical care initiative reshaping the landscape of accessible homeopathy care around the world.

Built from Urgency, Grown with Intention

HHN didn’t just provide tens of thousands of acute consultations. The team created infrastructure — a system where homeopathy students could intern, clients could access virtual support, and chronic and comfort care could take root.

From acute to complex chronic care, from student supervision to comfort care at the end of life, HHN has become a living ecosystem — responsive, adaptive, and deeply committed to ethical practice.

A Call for Skill — and Humility

This episode also dives into the challenges of complex care and end-of-life support. Host Denise Straiges shares her deeply personal experience navigating her father’s final days — while leading Comfort Care, the very program that trains others in palliative and end of life care with homeopathy.

She reflects candidly on what happens when homeopathy meets modern medicine head-on:

  • The urgent need for collaborative care models

  • Why using homeopathy in ICU settings requires not just knowledge, but good judgment and restraint

  • And how humility is one of the most important tools in a practitioner’s kit

“Not all homeopaths can or should be treating complex cases. That’s not judgment — that’s responsibility.”

Growing Together: From HHN to the IAH

In celebrating five years of HHN, the podcast also announces the creation of the Institute for the Advancement of Homeopathy (IAH) — a new umbrella organization designed to communicate and coordinate AHE, HHN, Comfort Care, and more. It’s a new chapter of clarity, professionalism, and long-term vision for the future of homeopathy.
