AHE Earns ACHENA Recertification

The Academy of Homeopathy Education has been granted re-affirmation of accreditation by the Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America (ACHENA) for a five-year term, effective through April 3, 2031.

As noted in the official communication from the Commission, this decision follows a comprehensive review process, including a detailed self-study and site visit.

“The ACHENA Commission thanks you for your detailed and thorough self-study and your well organized and collaborative site visit. Further, your leadership and excellence in providing outstanding homeopathic education is commended.”

In North America, ACHENA is the only accrediting body dedicated specifically to homeopathy education. That distinction matters because accreditation is only meaningful when the standards being applied are relevant to the field itself.

In this case, the review is not simply about whether a program appears organized. It looks at how the curriculum is structured, how clinical training is delivered, and how the school evaluates whether students are prepared to practice responsibly.

A significant portion of the standards focuses on clinical education—how students are trained, what competencies they must demonstrate, and how those competencies are assessed prior to graduation. It also examines how the institution functions as a whole: how students are supported, how concerns are addressed, and how the program maintains consistency over time.

Accreditation also requires ongoing review. It is not a one-time approval, but a process that asks a school to document its work, evaluate outcomes, and demonstrate that it continues to meet established standards.

For students, this provides a level of clarity about what they are entering and what will be expected of them. For the public, it reflects a level of accountability in how practitioners are trained.

This re-affirmation reflects the way AHE has built its program over time, with an emphasis on structured education, supervised clinical training, and institutional accountability.
